DESCRIPTION
The LPS173 is a 175 W single-output power supply from the LPS170 Series, designed to deliver regulated 12 V output with an adjustable range of 6–12 V. It features active power factor correction, wide input voltage range (85–264 Vac or 120–300 Vdc), and includes built-in EMI filtering, overvoltage protection, and thermal overload protection. The supply provides a maximum load of 9.1 A with convection cooling or 15 A with 30 CFM forced air cooling, with output regulation of ±2% and ripple of 120 mV peak-to-peak. Additional features include a 5 V standby output at 2 A, 12 V auxiliary output at 1 A, remote sense capability, power fail indication, and remote inhibit control. The LPS173 is ideal for embedded systems, industrial equipment, and OEM applications requiring reliable, compact power delivery with comprehensive protection and control features.
