DESCRIPTION

ERM01B18 is a 10-watt isolated DC-DC converter module from Artesyn's ERM series, specifically engineered for railway applications requiring high reliability and safety compliance. The module features a 9-36V input range with a wide 4:1 input ratio, delivering single output voltages with ±1.0% voltage tolerance and ±0.5% load regulation. It provides 3000 Vac rms minimum I/O isolation, operates at 320 kHz switching frequency, and achieves 88% efficiency at 24V output, with comprehensive protection including OCP, OVP, and OTP. The encapsulated design in a compact 50.8 x 25.4 x 11 mm DIP package with tinned copper pins meets EN61368-1, EN50155, and EN50121-302 railway safety and EMI standards. This converter is ideal for railway rolling stock applications where isolation, thermal stability, and regulatory compliance are essential.
