DESCRIPTION

ERM00H18 is a 10-watt isolated DC-DC converter module from Artesyn's ERM series, specifically engineered for railway applications requiring high reliability and safety compliance. The module accepts an input voltage range of 9 to 36 Vdc and delivers a single 24V output at 0.417A with 88% efficiency at maximum load. It features 3000 Vac rms input-to-output isolation, wide 4:1 input range capability, and comprehensive protection including overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), and overtemperature protection (OTP). The converter operates across an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with derating, meets EN61368-1 and EN50155 safety standards, and complies with EN50121-302 EMI requirements for railway rolling stock. Its compact 1" × 2" DIP package (50.8 × 25.4 × 11 mm) with encapsulated epoxy potting and remote on/off control makes it ideal for space-constrained railway control systems and mission-critical power distribution applications.
