DESCRIPTION
DS3000TE-3-001 is a 3000 W distributed power system designed for server, networking, telecom, and redundant power applications. It accepts 180–264 Vac input and provides a main 12.1 Vdc output capable of delivering up to 244 A, plus a 12 Vdc standby output limited to 54 W maximum. The power supply achieves 80 Plus Titanium certification with conversion efficiency exceeding 96% at 50% load, housed in a compact enclosure measuring 4.15 x 2.78 x 11 inches with a power density of 24 W per cubic inch. It features active current sharing for parallel operation of up to 12 units, PMBus compliance with I2C serial interface for digital control and monitoring, and is hot-pluggable for fault-tolerant N+1 and N+N redundant applications. The digitally-controlled design maintains output regulation from zero load to full load, making it ideal for distributed power architectures (DPA) feeding downstream DC-DC converters in high-reliability systems.
