DESCRIPTION
The CPS253-M1 is a 12V single-output open-frame AC-DC power supply from the Artesyn CPS250-M series, designed for medical and industrial applications requiring compact, high-density power conversion. It accepts universal input of 90 to 264 VAC and delivers up to 250W with forced-air cooling (300 LFM) or 155W with natural convection cooling, featuring a compact 2" × 4" × 1.29" form factor. The CPS253-M1 variant includes exclusive features such as a 5V standby output (100 mA), remote on/off control, and DC OK signal, along with a 12V fan output (500 mA) and output voltage adjustment range of -0%/+10%. It incorporates comprehensive protection including overvoltage (latching), overcurrent (auto-recovery), short-circuit (auto-recovery, <50 mOhm impedance), and overtemperature protection, with 93% typical efficiency and <500 mW no-load power consumption. The unit meets EN 62368-1/60601-1 and UL/CSA medical standards with 2× MOPP isolation, making it ideal for light industrial systems and medical equipment requiring reliable, regulated DC power with advanced control and monitoring capabilities.
