DESCRIPTION

The AYA01C05-L is a 3-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Artesyn's AYA series, designed for low-power applications in data communication, telecommunications, computer peripherals, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems. It accepts an input voltage range of 4.5–10 Vdc and delivers a regulated 15 V output at 0.2 A with 85% efficiency. The converter features I/O isolation of 1500 Vdc, ultra-compact DIP packaging (14 × 14 × 8.0 mm), and operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C with output voltage tolerance of ±1.5%, line regulation of ±0.2%, and load regulation of 1.0%. Its integrated overload protection (170% foldback) and continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery make it suitable for demanding embedded and industrial applications requiring high reliability and compact form factor.
