DESCRIPTION

AXA01B18-L is a 20 W isolated DC-DC converter from the Artesyn AXA series designed for applications requiring a 12 V output from a wide input voltage range of 9–36 Vdc. The converter features an ultra-wide 4:1 input range, 1,500 Vdc input/output isolation, and operates at 330 kHz switching frequency with 89% efficiency. It is fully encapsulated in a compact 1.0 × 1.0 × 0.4 inch metal case with an isolated baseplate, delivering 1.67 A maximum output current with ±1.0% voltage tolerance and 100 mV output noise/ripple. Standard protection includes hiccup mode short-circuit protection, remote On/Off control, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for industrial, telecommunications, and data center applications requiring reliable isolated power conversion.
