The AVD85B-48S12B-6L is an 85-watt sixteenth-brick isolated DC/DC converter designed for telecommunications equipment with a baseplate for enhanced thermal performance. It provides a fully regulated 12V output at up to 7.1A from a wide 2:1 input range of 36 to 75 Vdc, achieving up to 93.3% efficiency at full load. The converter features 2250 Vdc input/output isolation, low output ripple and noise of 64 mV peak-to-peak, and operates reliably across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with overtemperature protection at 110°C baseplate. It includes advanced control features such as TTL-compatible enable, remote sense capability, output voltage trim (80% to 110%), and fixed 350 kHz switching frequency for minimal EMI filtering requirements. The baseplate-optimized design, combined with high reliability (2 million hours MTBF) and RoHS 10 compliance, makes it ideal for mission-critical telecommunications and industrial power distribution systems requiring robust, efficient DC/DC conversion.
