DESCRIPTION

The AVD50B-48S12-6L is a 50-watt 1/16" brick isolated DC/DC converter designed for telecommunications equipment with a wide 2:1 input voltage range of 36–75 Vdc and a regulated 12V output capable of delivering 4.17A. The converter features open-frame construction optimized for air cooling, achieves up to 93% efficiency at full load, and operates reliably across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It provides 2250 Vdc input/output isolation, low output ripple and noise of 64 mV peak-to-peak, and includes protection features such as overvoltage and overcurrent protection with auto-restart capability. The fixed 350 kHz switching frequency minimizes external EMI filtering requirements, and the device supports remote sense, trim function (80–110% Vout), and TTL-compatible enable control, making it ideal for distributed power architectures in telecom and industrial systems requiring high reliability and compact form factors.
