DESCRIPTION
The AVD50-48S05-6L is a sixteenth-brick isolated DC-DC converter designed to deliver a fully regulated 5V output at up to 10 amps from a wide 2:1 input range of 36 to 75 Vdc. Rated at 50 watts, it features 90.5% efficiency, fixed 250 kHz switching frequency, and operates across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with 1500 Vdc minimum input-to-output isolation. The converter employs an open-frame construction with low ripple and noise (50 mV typical), line regulation of 0.5%, and load regulation of 0.5%, along with auto-restart overvoltage protection and pre-bias start-up capability. Optimized for high-density, small-space applications in telecommunications equipment and data center computing, it offers excellent thermal performance with a baseplate option and includes RoHS 6/6 compliance with a two-year warranty.
