DESCRIPTION

ATA02B18-L is an 8-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Artesyn's ATA series designed for low-power applications in data communication, telecommunications, computer peripherals, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems. The converter features a 12V output with 665 mA maximum output current, accepts input voltage from 9 to 36 VDC, and achieves 85% efficiency at rated conditions. It provides 1500 VDC input-to-output isolation with an ultra-compact DIP package measuring 23.8 × 13.7 × 8.0 mm, operates reliably across -40°C to +80°C, and includes protection features such as hiccup-mode overload and short-circuit protection. The device meets international safety standards (UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1) and EMI requirements (EN 55022 Class A, FCC Level A), making it suitable for demanding industrial and telecommunications applications requiring high reliability and compact form factor.
