DESCRIPTION

The ATA02A18-L is an 8-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Advanced Energy's Artesyn ATA series, designed for low-power applications in data communication, telecommunications, computer peripherals, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems. It features a 9-36 VDC input range with 5V output at 1600 mA, achieving 82% efficiency at 24 VDC with an ultra-wide 4:1 input range. The converter provides 1500 VDC I/O isolation, operates across -40°C to +80°C, and is housed in an ultra-compact DIP package measuring 23.8 × 13.7 × 8.0 mm for through-hole mounting. With output voltage tolerance of ±2.0%, line regulation of 0.8%, and hiccup-mode overload and short-circuit protection, this converter is ideal for applications requiring reliable isolated power conversion in space-constrained environments.
