DESCRIPTION

The ATA01F18-L is a 4-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Advanced Energy's Artesyn ATA series, designed for low-power applications in data communication, telecommunications, computer peripherals, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems. It accepts an input voltage range of 9 to 36 VDC and delivers a regulated 3.3V output at up to 1200 mA with 78% efficiency. The module features I/O isolation of 1500 VDC, ultra-wide 4:1 input range capability, and operates reliably across -40°C to +90°C. Housed in an ultra-compact mini dual-in-line package measuring 23.8 × 13.7 × 8.0 mm with through-hole mounting, the converter includes comprehensive protection features such as hiccup-mode overload and short-circuit protection, along with UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1 safety approval and CE marking. This design is ideal for applications requiring galvanic isolation, compact form factor, and reliable power delivery in harsh or noise-sensitive environments.
