DESCRIPTION

ATA00B18-L is a 3-watt isolated DC-DC converter designed for low-power applications in data communication, telecommunications, computer peripherals, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems. The converter accepts a wide input voltage range of 9-36 VDC and delivers 12 V output at 250 mA with 80% efficiency. It features an ultra-compact package measuring 23.8 x 13.7 x 8.0 mm, available in both through-hole DIP and surface-mount SMD configurations, with 1500 VDC input-to-output isolation and a switching frequency of 350 kHz. The device includes remote ON/OFF control, output noise/ripple of 100 mV, and comprehensive protection including 150% overload protection with foldback and hiccup-mode short-circuit protection. Operating reliably across -40°C to +85°C, the ATA00B18-L meets UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1 safety standards and is qualified for lead-free reflow solder processes, making it ideal for demanding industrial and portable applications requiring high reliability and compact form factor.
