DESCRIPTION
ASA01CC12-M is a 6-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Artesyn's ASA6W-M series designed for demanding instrumentation applications requiring supplementary or reinforced insulation to comply with stringent industrial and medical safety standards. The converter accepts a 9–18 Vdc input and provides dual outputs of +15 V @ 0.2 A and -15 V @ 0.2 A, with 4000 Vac reinforced isolation between input and output. It features fully regulated output voltage with ±1.0% voltage tolerance, ±0.5% line regulation, and 1.0% load regulation, along with low output noise/ripple of 180 mV and an efficiency of 80%. The unit operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +75°C, includes overload protection with foldback and auto-recovery, and meets medical safety standards including UL/cUL 60601-1 3rd Edition and IEC/EN 62368-1. With its compact 31.8 × 20.3 × 12 mm package, low leakage current, and 1,000,000-hour MTBF, this converter is ideal for medical devices, industrial instrumentation, and applications demanding high reliability and safety compliance.
