DESCRIPTION

ASA00C18-LS is a 6-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Advanced Energy's Artesyn ASA series, designed for ruggedized applications in harsh environments. It accepts an input voltage range of 9–36 Vdc and provides a single 15 V output at 0.40 A maximum current. The module features 1500 Vdc input-to-output isolation, operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +71°C with no derating, and is fully encapsulated in a compact 1.25 × 0.8 inch metal case with a height of 0.4 inch. Key electrical characteristics include ±2.0% voltage tolerance, ±0.5% line regulation, 150 mV output noise/ripple, and a switching frequency of 200 kHz. This converter is ideal for industrial, telecommunications, and data center applications requiring reliable isolated power conversion in demanding thermal and mechanical environments.
