DESCRIPTION

AEE10A18-L is a 50W isolated DC/DC converter from the Artesyn AEE Series designed for applications requiring wide input voltage ranges and high reliability. It accepts input voltages from 9 to 36 Vdc and delivers a regulated 5V output at up to 10A, with 92% efficiency and 1500 Vdc minimum input/output isolation. The fully potted, metal-cased aluminum construction with FR4 PCB base provides robust performance in harsh industrial environments, operating reliably from -40°C to +85°C with comprehensive protection features including overcurrent (hiccup mode), overvoltage (latched), and overtemperature (latched) protection. The compact 50.8 × 25.4 × 11 mm DIP package, combined with low output noise (100 mV ripple), tight voltage regulation (±0.5% line and load), and remote on/off control, makes this converter ideal for industrial, telecommunications, and embedded system applications where space, efficiency, and environmental robustness are critical.
