DESCRIPTION

The AEE03A24-M is a 15-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Artesyn's AEE15W-M series designed for demanding instrumentation applications requiring supplementary or reinforced insulation to comply with stringent industrial and medical safety standards. It accepts an input voltage range of 18-36 VDC and delivers a regulated 5V output at 3A maximum current, with an efficiency of 89% and switching frequency of 285 kHz. The converter features 4200 Vac reinforced insulation, 2x MOPP rating, low leakage current (<5 µA), and operates reliably across -40°C to +80°C ambient temperature. Its compact 50.8 x 25.4 x 12 mm plastic package, combined with medical safety certifications (EN/IEC 60601-1, ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1) and CE marking, makes it ideal for medical devices, industrial control systems, and telecommunications equipment where isolation and regulatory compliance are critical.
