The 15492640 is an unsealed automotive connector from the APEX® 2.8 series, engineered for robust, high-current performance. It features a 2.8 mm blade size with a 5.25 mm centerline spacing and supports a wide wire range from 0.35 mm² (22 AWG) to 5 mm² (10 AWG). The connector is designed to operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +125°C and has an IP40 environmental protection rating. Key features include a Primary Lock Reinforcement (PLR) for secure terminal seating and mechanical polarization to prevent mis-mating.
