DESCRIPTION

15304731 is an APEX® 2.8 sealed series connector terminal designed for low-voltage automotive electrical systems. It features a two-piece construction with an integrated floating spring made of beryllium copper or copper nickel silicon, providing low contact mating force and reliable electrical performance. The terminal operates at a maximum temperature of 150°C with a maximum vibration rating of 30 G and supports a maximum current of 40 A, with contact resistance below 2 mO. It is available in both female and male configurations with various wire size ranges from 0.22 to 2.5 mm², and is compatible with VDA (AK) 1.2 and USCAR 120 device interfaces. This terminal is widely used in automotive wiring harnesses and electrical distribution systems where sealed, reliable connections are essential for vehicle performance and safety.
