DESCRIPTION
15304701 is an APEX 2.8 series low-voltage connector terminal designed for automotive electrical systems. It features a two-piece construction with an integrated floating spring made of beryllium copper or copper nickel silicon, providing heavy-duty performance and the highest current rating in its class. The terminal exhibits a contact resistance below 0.5 mO, contact mating force less than 5 N, and contact unmating force less than 1 N, ensuring reliable electrical connections. Available in both female and male genders with multiple sealing options (unsealed, mat sealed, cable sealed) and plating choices (Sn, Sn/Ag, Ag, Au), this terminal supports wire sizes ranging from 0.35 to 8.0 mm² depending on configuration. Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C with vibration resistance up to 30 G and maximum current ratings of 18–22 A, the 15304701 is ideal for sealed and unsealed inline and device applications in modern vehicle electrical architectures.
