DESCRIPTION

12020398 is a low-voltage automotive connector terminal designed for compact transportation connection systems (CTCS) with nickel-silicon plating and optimized for low contact mating force applications. The terminal features a contact resistance of less than 2 mO, contact mating force less than 7.0 N, and contact unmating force less than 7.0 N, ensuring reliable and repeatable mating cycles. It supports wire sizes ranging from 0.08 to 1.5 mm² with multiple plating options (Sn, Ag, Au) and is available in both sealed and unsealed configurations for male and female genders. The terminal operates at a maximum temperature of 170°C with a maximum vibration rating of 30 G and carries a maximum current of 19 A at 23°C with 1.5 mm² wire, making it suitable for automotive electrical harness applications requiring durability and consistent performance across diverse environmental conditions.
