DESCRIPTION

02973215 is a low voltage automotive connector component from Aptiv's APEX series, designed for reliable electrical connections in automotive applications. The APEX product family includes various terminal and connector configurations with blade sizes ranging from 1.2 mm to 9.5 mm, supporting wire gauge ranges from 25 AWG to 3 AWG (0.13 mm² to 25 mm²). These connectors feature two-piece terminal construction with integrated floating springs made of beryllium copper or copper nickel silicon, offering heavy-duty performance and high current ratings. Available in sealed and unsealed configurations with IP68 to IP69K environmental protection ratings, the series operates across temperature classes T3 to T5 with operating temperatures from -40°C to +150°C. Common applications include on-engine sensors, actuators, and sealed inline device connections in automotive electrical systems.
