DESCRIPTION

02971859 is a low voltage automotive connector component from Aptiv's APEX terminal series. The product features a two-piece box and blade terminal construction with a tangless/lanceless locking mechanism designed for APEX terminal cavities. It offers a blade size of 1.5 mm and supports wire gauge ranges from 22-16 AWG (0.35-1.5 mm²), with available sealing options including unsealed, mat sealed, and cable sealed configurations. The terminal is available in both female and male genders with tin (Sn) or gold (Au) plating options. This connector is designed for heavy-duty automotive applications requiring high current ratings up to 18 A, maximum operating temperature of 150°C, and vibration resistance up to 30 G.
