DESCRIPTION
The AKTSC21R is an ultraminature tactile pushbutton switch featuring a 12×12 mm square stem with mechanical contact design, engineered for high-density mounting applications. It delivers positive tactile feedback with a 520 gf (±130 gf) operational force and supports 100,000 electrical cycles at a 50 mA, 12 VDC rating, with contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum and insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 500 VDC. The switch operates across a temperature range of -25 °C to +70 °C, withstands vibration per MIL-STD-202F Method 201A and shock per MIL-STD-202F Method 213B, and features insert-molded phosphor bronze terminals with silver cladding to prevent flux buildup during soldering. Its compact, economical design with high reliability makes it ideal for consumer electronics, industrial control panels, and portable devices requiring space-efficient tactile input solutions.
