DESCRIPTION

T3427100 is an M16 D circular DIN connector from Amphenol's signalmate® C091 family, designed for industrial applications requiring robust signal and power connections. The connector features a metal screw coupling system with thermoplastic dielectric material and silver/gold contact plating, supporting 2 through 8, 12, and 14 position configurations. It operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C with an operating voltage up to 300V per IEC 60664-1 standard, delivering current ratings of 7A for 5-8 position configurations and 3A for 12-14 position configurations at +40°C. The M16 D variant provides IP65/67/69K environmental protection when mated and includes 360° shielding capability for excellent EMI protection, with contact termination options including solder and crimp for AWG 18 through 28 wire sizes. This connector is ideal for measuring instruments, equipment, and 4G/5G mobile radio network applications where environmental sealing and signal integrity are critical.
