DESCRIPTION

C09131W0061002 is an M16 D circular DIN connector from Amphenol's signalmate® C091 family, designed for industrial applications requiring robust signal and power connections. The connector features a metal screw coupling system with IP65/67/69K environmental protection when mated, thermoplastic dielectric material, and silver/gold contact plating for reliable performance. It supports 2 through 8, 12, and 14 position configurations with current ratings of 10A for 2-3 positions, 7A for 5-8 positions, and 3A for 12-14 positions at +40°C. The connector operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C and offers excellent EMI shielding capability with 360° shielding available. Key electrical characteristics include insulation resistance greater than 10¹²O, contact resistance less than 5mO, and mating cycles of =500 for silver and =1000 for gold plating. This connector is ideal for measuring instruments, industrial equipment, and 4G/5G mobile radio networks where environmental protection and signal integrity are critical.
