DESCRIPTION

C09131G0041002 is an M16 D circular DIN connector from Amphenol's signalmate® C091 family, designed for industrial signal and power applications requiring robust environmental protection. The connector features a metal screw coupling system with IP65/67/69K mating protection, thermoplastic dielectric material, and silver/gold contact plating for reliable performance. It supports 2 to 8, 12, and 14 position configurations with current ratings of 2–3 positions at 10A, 5–8 positions at 7A, and 12–14 positions at 3A (at +40°C). The connector operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C and offers excellent EMI shielding capability with 360° shielding options available. Key electrical characteristics include insulation resistance greater than 10¹² O, contact resistance less than 5 mO, and mating cycle ratings of =500 cycles for silver and =1000 cycles for gold plating. This connector is widely used in measuring instruments, 4G/5G mobile radio networks, and other applications demanding high-integrity power and signal connections in diverse environmental conditions.
