DESCRIPTION

PL28X-301-70-5 is a high-voltage shielded plug assembly connector designed for 70mm² cable applications with integrated high-voltage interlock (HVIL) functionality. It features an orange key color designation, operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, and supports a current rating of 250A for 70mm² cable at 1000 VDC operating voltage. The connector provides IP67 and IP2X protection class, electromagnetic shielding, and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 5000 VDC. Additional features include an automatic secondary lock, 90-degree wire orientation rotation capability, and a minimum mating cycle life of 100 cycles. This connector is ideal for electric vehicle battery systems and high-power applications requiring reliable electrical interlock safety mechanisms.
