DESCRIPTION

PL18Y-301-35 is a PowerLok 10mm single-position plug assembly designed for high-voltage DC power distribution applications. The connector features a black key designation (Y variant) with integrated high-voltage interlock (HVIL) and is rated for 35 mm² cable cross-section with an accepted wire outer diameter of 14.5±0.5 mm. It delivers a current rating of 150A at 1000 VDC operating voltage, with a dielectric withstand voltage of 5000 VDC, and includes automatic secondary locking and electromagnetic shielding for secure connections. The assembly operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and achieves IP67 and IP2X protection ratings with a mechanical mating cycle life of 500 cycles minimum. This connector is ideal for electric vehicle charging systems, renewable energy storage, and industrial power applications where safety interlocks and robust environmental sealing are essential.
