DESCRIPTION

The AWV-18P is an 18-position receptacle wedgelock connector from the ATV Series™, designed for heavy-duty applications in harsh environments including on/off-highway, marine, industrial, and agricultural markets. It features a thermoplastic housing with built-in contact sealing, an integrated latch for mating, and a wedgelock mechanism that confirms contact alignment and retention. The connector accepts Size 16 contacts rated for 13A current with wire ranges of 14-22 AWG, operates across -40°C to +125°C, and achieves IP68 sealing in mated condition. With a maximum voltage rating of 250V, dielectric strength exceeding 1500V, and silicone elastomer sealing material, the AWV-18P delivers reliable performance through thermal shock cycles (-55°C to +125°C), vibration (20 g's max), and shock (50 g's) testing. Its robust design and proven reliability make it ideal for applications requiring durable, sealed connections in demanding industrial and mobile environments.
