DESCRIPTION

AIPXE-5X650A is a large sealed PCB enclosure from Amphenol Sine Systems' Armor IPX™ family, designed to provide superior protection for printed circuit boards and electronic control modules in harsh environments and off-road applications. The enclosure features Thermoplastic PA66 (Black) material construction with a vent hole and mounting holes for simplified installation via a rugged tandem through-hole design. It offers multiple ingress protection ratings: IP67 (dust tight, 1 meter water immersion for 30 minutes in mated condition), IP68 (dust tight, 1 meter water immersion for 24 hours in mated condition), and IP69K (dust tight, high-pressure waterproof at four points in mated condition). The enclosure is sealed with silicone rubber, operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, and meets RoHS compliance. It withstands 500-hour current cycling, 96-hour salt fog exposure, 10–2000 Hz vibration at 20g peak level for 24 hours, and 50g shock with 20 pulses, making it ideal for demanding industrial and automotive applications requiring robust environmental sealing and reliable long-term performance.
