DESCRIPTION

The 172103 is an N-type crimp jack connector from Amphenol Connex, engineered for terminating RG-58/U and RG-141/U cables. It features a durable brass body and copper ferrule, both with a NEXCOTE finish, and a gold-plated phosphor bronze contact pin for reliable connectivity. The connector utilizes a Teflon insulator and has 5/8-24UNEF-2A threading. Proper assembly requires a .213" hex crimp for the ferrule and a .100" hex crimp for the contact pin, making it suitable for RF applications demanding secure and robust cable termination.
