DESCRIPTION

The 031-242 is an industrial-grade 50 Ohm straight BNC plug designed for reliable RF connections. It features a nickel-plated body and a gold-plated center contact, both utilizing a crimp termination method for secure cable affixment. This connector is specified for Cable Group B1 (including RG-179 and RG-187 cables) and offers excellent performance with low reflection from DC to 4 GHz. The quick connect/disconnect bayonet coupling makes it well-suited for applications in telecommunications, instrumentation, and broadcast equipment where durability and signal integrity are critical.
