DESCRIPTION

031-218 is a 50O straight plug-to-plug BNC adapter connector manufactured by Amphenol RF for RF and coaxial cable applications. The connector features a nickel-plated body with silver-plated contacts, designed for industrial-grade performance. It is part of the BNC product line, which are miniature quick connect/disconnect RF connectors usable up to 11 GHz with low reflection typically through 4 GHz. This adapter is ideally suited for cable termination and interconnection of miniature to subminiature coaxial cables (RG-58, RG-59, RG-179, RG-316, etc.). The straight plug-to-plug configuration makes it suitable for test equipment, laboratory instruments, and RF signal distribution systems where reliable, repeatable connections are required.
