DESCRIPTION

The 6STD50SAM99B70X is a 50-position D-SUB female connector with solder cup termination designed for robust signal transmission in industrial and electronic applications. The connector features a copper alloy shell with minimum 315 µin tin plating over 40–80 µin nickel, PBT GF UL 94 V-0 black insulators, and signal contacts with gold plating options (gold flash over nickel as preferred type, or 20–30 µin hard gold over 50 µin nickel). The solder cup accepts AWG 20 cable, and the connector is secured with a 4-40 UNC stud bolt with recommended torque of 35 Ncm (3.1 in.LB) to maximum 40 Ncm (3.5 in.LB). Additional features include a silicon blue O-ring, PUR blue sealing compound, zinc die-cast nickel-plated frame, and threaded locks with 200 µin tin over 80 µin nickel plating. This water-resistant connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable electrical connections in harsh environments, with soldering performed at 350°C maximum using a 50 Watt pencil-tip iron.
