DESCRIPTION

The 242A26070X is a D-SUB T-filter connector designed for 15-pin configurations with integrated EMI/RFI filtering capabilities. It features a PBT GF UL 94 V-0 black insulator body with steel metal components plated with minimum 320 microinches of tin, and hard gold plating over minimum 50 microinches of nickel on copper alloy contacts for superior corrosion resistance and signal integrity. The connector incorporates dual 1300 pF capacitors (±20% tolerance) for effective noise filtering, with a maximum thread torque rating of 6 inch-pounds and 4-40 UNC threaded inserts. This connector is ideal for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition applications where electromagnetic interference mitigation and reliable signal transmission are critical requirements.
