DESCRIPTION
15-007373 is a water-resistant D-SUB combination female connector featuring a 90° angled solder pin configuration with 7W2S (7 way, 2 shell) design. The connector is rated IP 67 and sealed to withstand pressure up to 1.45 PSI for 30 minutes after soldering, with a metal bracket and PCB snap for secure mounting. The insulator is constructed from PBT GF UL 94 V-0, the metal shell is zinc die-cast with minimum 50 µin nickel plating over copper, and signal contacts feature copper alloy plating with hard gold or gold flash options depending on part number designation. The connector includes a silicone sealing gasket and epoxy sealing compound, with recommended mounting torque of 35 Ncm (3.1 in.LB) to 67 Ncm (6 in.LB). This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable, sealed electrical connections in harsh or wet environments, such as industrial equipment, marine systems, and outdoor instrumentation.
