DESCRIPTION

PSAS5F3130031TR is a SAS/PCIe® 5.0 U.2 vertical connector designed for high-speed server storage and I/O applications. This 68-position receptacle supports data rates up to 32 Gb/s for PCIe® lanes and 24 Gb/s for SAS lanes, with an operating impedance of 85O and a compact height of 8.15 mm. The connector features SMT termination with through-hole retainers, top-mount configuration, and is constructed from halogen-free high-temperature thermoplastic (UL94V-0) with gold-plated copper alloy contacts. It delivers 500 mating cycles durability, contact resistance of 30 mO maximum, and supports sequential contact mating for hot-plugging capability. The molded guideposts enable self-alignment during mating, while backward compatibility with 12G, 6G, and 3G SAS connectors makes it suitable for diverse storage systems including SSDs, HDDs, and PCIe-based devices in servers, storage blades, and external storage systems.
