DESCRIPTION

The 71918-160LF is a shrouded electrical header connector designed for reliable interconnection in electronic assemblies. It features a 2x8 position configuration with a standard latch mechanism and lead-free plating (2 µm minimum matte tin over 1.27 µm minimum nickel underplate). The housing is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic (UL94V-0) available in standard grey or optional black color, with phosphor bronze pins for durability. The connector is compatible with wave solder applications at 260°C ±5°C for 5 seconds on 1.6 mm minimum thick circuit boards, and includes a 4.5 mm solder tail for secure PCB mounting.
