DESCRIPTION
The 10068995-101LF is an AirMax VS vertical receptacle connector assembly designed for press-fit termination with 165 contact positions and a 33mm connector outline. The connector features tin over nickel (lead-free) plating on press-fit tails and is constructed from high-temperature thermoplastic housing (UL94V-0) with copper alloy contacts qualified to FCI product specification GS-12-239. The assembly supports both differential and single-ended PCB layouts with recommended trace spacing of 3.00mm (4 traces + 3 spaces) and accommodates reflow soldering up to 260°C peak temperature for 40 seconds. This connector is ideal for telecommunications and high-speed data applications requiring reliable press-fit interconnection with performance-based contact plating meeting Telcordia GR-1217-CORE standards.
