DESCRIPTION

The XGXP-1396-40D is a 10Gb/s 1310nm SFP+ optical transceiver designed for long-distance 10G Ethernet applications. It supports data rates up to 11.1 Gbps with transmission distances up to 40 km over single-mode fiber (SMF), utilizing a DFB laser and PIN receiver architecture. The module features a metal enclosure for reduced EMI, integrated 2-wire digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) compliant with SFF 8472, and operates from a single 3.3V power supply with power dissipation below 1.2W. With a commercial operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C and an industrial variant extending to -40°C to +85°C, this transceiver is ideal for 10GBASE-ER/EW and 10G Ethernet deployments requiring reliable long-reach connectivity.
