DESCRIPTION
NDHN3E2 is an IX Industrial hood and plug kit designed for secure, sealed connectivity in industrial environments. The kit features a push/pull mating design with IP67 rating in the mated condition, conforming to IEC 61076 Part 3-124 specification. It supports Type B key configuration with 24 AWG IDC (insulation displacement contact) termination, suitable for Ethernet applications up to 10 Gbit/s (CAT 5e, 6, and 6A) or non-Ethernet applications up to 10 positions. The contacts are copper alloy plated with gold or palladium-nickel over 1.27 µm minimum nickel on the mating area, with matte tin over nickel on the terminals. Operating specifications include a current rating of 1.5 amperes, voltage rating of 50V AC or 60V DC, operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, dielectric withstanding voltage of 500V DC, and insulation resistance of 500 megohms minimum. This kit is ideal for industrial automation, data communication systems, and harsh environment applications requiring reliable sealed connections.
