DESCRIPTION

The L717SDA15P is a high-density D-Sub connector featuring 15 solder-cup contacts with stamped and formed brass contacts and a tin-plated steel shell. It utilizes glass-filled thermoplastic insulation (UL 94V-0) with selected gold plating in the mating area and tin plating on the termination area, ensuring reliable electrical performance and durability. The connector is rated for 3A current at 250V AC/rms 50Hz, with a withstanding voltage of 1000V AC/rms and insulation resistance of 1000MO at 500V DC. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, it delivers contact resistance of 20mO maximum and mating forces of 3.81 kg (8.42 lb) maximum with unmating forces of 0.52 kg (1.14 lb) minimum. This connector is ideal for economical industrial, telecom, and standard I/O applications requiring robust solder-cup termination and high-density contact configurations.
