DESCRIPTION

D38999/26WA98SN is a MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Tri-Start circular connector configured as a crimp straight plug. This connector features a corrosion-resistant steel shell with electrodeposited nickel plating, providing 500-hour salt spray resistance and EMI shielding of -65dB at 10GHz specification minimum. The connector is designed with shell size A (9) and insert arrangement 98, utilizing size 22D contacts. It is rated for operating temperatures up to 200°C and is fully intermateable with standard MIL-DTL-38999 Series III receptacles. Common applications include military and commercial aviation, military vehicles, missiles and ordnance, C4ISR systems, and space applications where reliable performance in harsh environments is required.
