DESCRIPTION

5853-YELLOW-1000 is a PTFE-insulated hookup wire designed for high-temperature and high-reliability applications. It features a 26 AWG (7/34) silver-plated copper conductor with a nominal insulation wall thickness of 0.010 inches, resulting in an overall diameter of 0.039 ± 0.004 inches. The wire operates over a temperature range of -60 to 200°C and is rated for 600 VRMS, meeting MIL-W-16878/4 (Type E) military specifications and UL AWM/Style 1213 standards. With a conductor DC resistance of 38 O/1000ft at 20°C and a maximum pull tension of 2.18 lbs, this wire is suitable for aerospace, military, and industrial applications requiring excellent thermal stability and chemical resistance.
