The 2842/1-WH005 is a single-conductor hookup wire featuring a 28 AWG solid silver-plated copper (SPC) conductor with a nominal 0.006" wall PTFE insulation, designed for high-reliability electronic applications. The wire has an overall diameter of 0.025" ± 0.002" and is rated for 250V RMS operation with a temperature range of -60°C to +200°C, making it suitable for demanding aerospace and military environments. It exhibits a conductor DC resistance of 65 O/1000 ft at 20°C and a nominal inductance of 0.05 µH/ft, with a maximum pull tension of 1.25 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter.
