DESCRIPTION

1559-RD005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections and wiring applications. It features a 14 AWG tinned copper conductor (41/30 stranding) with a nominal 0.016" wall PVC insulation, providing an outer diameter of 0.106 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 1000 VRMS at 80°C and complies with MIL-W-76B TYPE MW military specifications, with a conductor DC resistance of 2.8 O/1000ft at 20°C and inductance of 0.04 µH/ft. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C with a maximum pull tension of 32 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter. Available in multiple colors including white, black, red, green, yellow, blue, brown, orange, slate, and violet, this wire is ideal for laboratory, industrial, and military applications requiring durable, standards-compliant interconnections.
