The D38999/24ZD15SA is a MIL-DTL-38999 Series III jam nut receptacle connector designed for military and aerospace interconnect applications. It features an aluminum shell with electroless nickel plating and operates across a wide temperature range from -60°C to +250°C, providing reliable performance in demanding environments. The connector utilizes a jam nut mounting configuration with metric thread specifications (M12X1-6g for size 9, M15X1-6g for size 11, and larger metric threads for larger shell sizes) and maintains an insulation resistance of 1000 MO/mm at 0.500 VDC/25°C. The connector achieves bonding effectiveness of 48 MO at 500 VDC/50V, ensuring excellent EMI shielding.
