DESCRIPTION

D38999/24WB98SN is a jam nut receptacle connector conforming to MIL-DTL-38999 Series III specifications, designed for military and aerospace-electric applications. The connector features an aluminum shell with olive drab cadmium over electroless nickel base finish (Class W), providing corrosion resistance and durability in harsh environments. It incorporates normal polarization (keying) to ensure proper mating and prevent incorrect connections. The connector is supplied with contacts, spare contacts (one spare for inserts with 2-26 contacts, two spares for 27+ contacts), sealing plugs (minimum 10% of contact count), and insertion/extraction tools for each contact size.
